PRODUCT DESCRIPTION BondTite 1101 is a 100% solids, two-component AHC (Advanced Hybrid Cycloaliphatic) epoxy primer which exhibits excellent adhesion and sealing properties on steel or concrete. The coating’s uses include the priming of floors, manholes, sumps, and other areas until overcoating can be completed. BondTite 1101 provides an excellent bonding surface for other Wolverine Coatings Corporation products. In addition, BondTite 1101 can also be used as a clearcoat or a clear broadcast medium for decorative finishes. APPLICATION DATA SUMMARY See Application Instructions for complete information on surface preparation, equipment, environmental conditions, application procedures, and safety precautions. SURFACE PREPARATION Coating performance is directly related to the quality and degree of surface preparation. Prior to overcoating, all surfaces must be clean, dry, undamaged, and free of all contaminants. For more specific information, consult the surface preparation section contained in the Application instructions. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Read the Material Safety Data sheet carefully before use. Safety precautions in the MSDS should be carefully followed during storage, handling and use. Improper use and handling can be hazardous to health and cause fire or explosion. | PHYSICAL DATA Finish Glossy Color Clear, Translucent White, or Light Gray Components Two Curing Mechanism Chemical reaction Volume Solids 100% Dry Film Thickness 5 mils (minimum) Total Coats 1 or more Theoretical Coverage Ft2/lb M2/kilos 5 Mils 325 7.8 10 Mils 160 3.9 (Depends on Porosity) VOC None Temperature limits 200oF (100oC) Adhesion (on Concrete) The bondstrength is so high that the concrete will break underneath the coating usually pulling up a chunk of concrete!
